May 17, 2019 (Thunder Bay, ON) – The Thunder Bay National Team Development Centre is proud to announce our new team for the 2019-20 season. Headed by 2019 World Championships U23 participants and 2019/20 National Ski team members Graham Ritchie and Julian Smith, this year’s team captures a mix of promising young cross country skiers including Canadian National Championship medal winner Pierre Grail- Johnson.

The team will be commencing a busy summer season with training camps scheduled for Canmore (July), Mount Tremblant (August) and Thunder Bay (September). Goals are to have athletes compete and finish in the top 20 positions in the World Juniors/U23’s in Germany in late February and then finish in the top 30 at the World Cups which will be in Canada in March.
