March 02, 2018 (Otepaa, Estonia) – Team USA’s Vaclav Cervenka, Camren Nielsen and Garrett Beckrich raced to a 9th-place finish in the 3×7.5km Youth Men’s relay using 15 spares with three penalties on Day 3 of the 2018 IBU Youth World Championships. Russia took the win over the Czech Republic with Norway grabbing the last podium spot. The Canadian squad of Rory Gilliland, Thomas Hulsman and Leo Grandbois finished 16th.

The Canadian Women’s Youth team of Pascale Paradis, Shilo Luca Rousseau and Benita Peiffer claimed 9th in the 3x6km Relay won by Sweden over Finland with Norway in third. The USA’s Helen Wilson, Margaret Madigan and Emma Sterz were 18th.
