January 23, 2004 – Super Bowl Sunday is for Skiing! Join us for a fun day of cross-country skiing for women, by women. The third annual New England Women's XC Ski Day, sponsored by Banknorth and held in support of Family Crissis Services in Portland, ME, is a chance for women of all ages and abilities to learn more about cross-country skiing and the friends, fun and fitness they will gain from the activity.

There will also be wax clinics, daycare (no infants), lunch and a prize drawing, with Olympic gold medalist, Joan Benoit Samuelson on hand to sign autographs. An outdoor Nordic Expo clothing and equipment retailers will have items to try and to buy.
