December 2, 2005 – Cross Country Alberta is advertising for coaching positions to fill the coaching staff requirements for the 2007 Canada Winter Games.

Any staff listed as coaches on the official registration form must be fully certified under the National Coaching Certification Program to a least Level 3 in Cross Country Skiing.
Cross Country Alberta is seeking the following two positions for the Canada Winter Games staff:

-1 Female Coach – minimum NCCP Level 3
-1 Manager/wax technician – NCCP levels an asset

The Canada Winter Games staff will be committing to the following:
Canada Winter Games March 4-10, 2007 Whitehorse Yukon
Western Canadian Championships March 18-21, 2006 Whitehorse Yukon
One of the two following dry land camps:

-CCA Super Camp May 11-14, Calgary, Alberta
-CCA Fall Camp September 29 – October 1, TBA

The purpose is to have the coaching staff work together in both a competition format as well as a training camp format. The athletes and coaches will have the opportunity to get to know each other while developing a strong team atmosphere.
