June 16, 2008 – We would like to utilize customer feedback from our division and club survey to make the calendar more appealing to a broader market within the cross-country skiing community. While not forgetting the origins of the calendar project and the National Ski Team, we wish to expand our selection of photos and images to include more recreational and backcountry cross-country ski shots, as well as more children and youth programming. We are looking for photos from all seasons including summer training and roller skiing. Photos that are not selected for calendar months may also be featured as vignettes (secondary images) on calendar pages or be used for other CCC promotional purposes.

Once again, Cross Country Canada is encouraging cross-country skiers everywhere to become part of our team in creating next year’s Project Podium Calendar! Submit your favourite cross-country skiing photos from the 2007/08 season! Proceeds from the calendar go to Cross Country Canada, the National Ski Team and can be used as a great Club fundraising activity in support of youth and racing programs.
