April 2, 2009 (Yellowknife, NWT) – Canada’s Mike Argue of Yellowknife, NWT has won the 2009 Rock and Ice Ultra event held from March 21-26 in rugged frozen expanse of the Northwest Territories. From day one Argue battled head-to-head against Canmore, Alberta’s Phil Villenueve for the coveted Ekati diamond valued at more than $6,000.
