April 2, 2009 – The 2009 US Super Tour racing series officially wrapped up March 29 in Fairbanks, Alaska with the completion of the men’s and women’s 50/30km events. On top of the men’s standings was Saab/Salomon’s Lars Flora, his second overall title in the past three years. On the women’s side, Flora’s teammate and girlfriend Kristina Strandberg won her second consecutive title.

Strandberg amassed more than double the amount of points as second place overall finisher Lindsey Dehlin of the US Ski Team 623 to 307. Flora managed to pull ahead in the overall standings by just 34 pts over USST skier Leif Zimmerman.
