2010 Olympic Men’s Classic Sprint Qualifications – Kuhn, Kershaw and Hamilton Advance

February 17, 2010 (Whistler, BC) – Canada’s Stefan Kuhn pulled out all the stops to qualify 10th in the men’s Olympic 1.5km classic Sprints while team mate Devon Kershaw placed in 23rd and the USA’s young emerging speedster Simeon Hamilton was 29th as all advance to the next round. Alexander Panzhinskity (Rus) was the top qualifier with Emil Joensson (Swe) in second Norway’s sprint stud Ola Vigen Hattestad in third. US top sprinter Andy Newell fell during his qualification run ending quest for a podium today at Whistler Olympic Park.
