July 4, 2009 – The 2010 Paralympic Winter Games hosted by Vancouver-Whistler are nearly upon us and you could play a crucial role in the Para-Nordic (Biathlon and Cross Country) events this March in Whistler. As part of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games a group of 20 skiers are required as official Paralympic Forerunners for the duration of the games.

We are asking senior skiers, master skiers and junior men/women to apply to be one of 20 forerunners over nearly two weeks of competition during the Vancouver-Whistler 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. It will be an opportunity to see the best paralympic athletes in the world compete, while being right in the midst of the action.

Please read the attached documents for additional information, timelines and application info to see if you are eligible. Please note that the dates for the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games overlaps with the 2010 Haywood National Championships.
