March 16, 2017 (Toronto, ON) – We apologize for the delay and are excited to present the winners and final standings of the SkiTrax FIS Fantasy Lahti 2017 Contest following the Men’s 50km F where Canada’s Alex Harvey brought the house down with “the greatest race of his life” for his first individual gold medal at Worlds and Canada’s as well here. In the women’s 30km F the USA’s Jessie Diggins skied to a career-best stellar 5th place finish here.
In the contest standings Chip off the old Toblach wins with 285 points to claim the Grand Prize of 3-nights @ Delta Whistler Village Suites w/passes to Lost Lake and Ski Callaghan, $200 dining, Scandinave Spa (value $1,690). In second place it’s Cole + Dahria with 270 points taking home a pair of Salomon S-Lab Skate Pro/Skate Boots (value $500), while team skeila finished third with 265 points winning a cool Bjorn Daehlie Raw Jacket – men’s or women’s (value $499) – the complete list of winners is below.
Honourable mention goes out to Istanbul Champions who earned the most points but is not eligible to win prizes being based in Istanbul, Turkey. Ski ohoi from Norway was seventh overall and RED2017MIX from Russia was 9th.
