December 6, 2005 – Here is a brief explanation and form that can be used for the Alberta Games Trials:

Athletes who belong to a club in a different zone from where they actually live (this mostly refers to Calgary and Edmonton athletes), have the option to race for either zone in the Alberta Winter Games. However, intent for which zone they plan to represent must be declared by Dec. 20, 2005.This form must be sent to the Cross Country Alberta office by Dec. 15th, 2005, to indicate which zone they intend to qualify for. The athlete may not attempt to try to qualify for more than one zone. If qualification is not achieved in the zone indicated on the letter, the athlete will only be eligible per the “fill list” for the zone declared.
