March 04, 2010 (Hayward, WI) – The 2010 American Birkebeiner will be remembered for its superb weather and course conditions, the excellent competition in each of the men and women’s freestyle and classic events, and the course records being smashed. The 54km freestyle winners, Fabio Santus (Ita) and Rebecca Dussault (CXC), along with the 54km classic winners, Juergen Uhl and Audrey Webber, are now a part of Birkie history.
