First EASTERN REG Camp
I got off the plane in Albany and almost choked on the amount of humidity in the air…I felt like I was swimming through the airport parking lot! But I’m starting to adjust now, and it’s so good to be back home with my club teammates in Stratton. Gus gave me a good scare in the airport, as he didn’t tell me that he was flying out to Park City for a wedding and would be on my same flight home. I kept being surprised at how green everything here is, and how many trees there are after being in the desert, and it reminds me a lot of Minnesota… read more here.

L3 Intervals
Put in some really quality L3 intervals this morning – 5×9 min with 3-min between sets. Here is some video of the workout. Next weekend the Central REG camp starts and I am looking forward to getting up to Hayward and putting in a really solid week of training. I have been putting in a lot of hours on rollerskis this year and was excited to get a pair of Toko’s new rollerski gloves.  Minimalist summer glove with a nice leather palm, mesh back , and machine washable.  Easily my favourite glove… – read more here.

Callaghan Valley Training Centre Team
Meet the CVT Team
The date is nigh: you’re invited to meet the Callaghan Valley Training Centre Team on Sunday, July 7 (6:00 pm, Cinnamon Bear Bar at the Whistler Hilton). Finger food will be provided and there will be a cash bar. This will be the first time that the entire 2013/14 team is together en masse and shortly before they launch on their first training camp. NDC-Callaghan Valley (CVTC) is a high performance training center working within the framework of Cross Country Canada.
