September 3, 2008 (Boulder, Colorado) – The Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team is having an intra-team ski swap on Sunday September 28 and all Boulder Nordic Club members are invited to donate, or sell, any Nordic ski equipment you may have collecting dust in your garages.
The purpose of our annual sale is to help juniors get started, or continue, in this wonderful sport by helping them get into decent gear without bankrupting the families’ budgets. Hand-me-downs and recycled gear are great! The sale will be from 4-6 pm at the home of one of our members.
All proceeds will go to a scholarship fund to help our members train and race in the Rocky Mountain Region.
If you’re interested in donating or selling gear please contact Tim Lowney at tlowneydc@msn.com , or 303-440-6726 for more details.
All you have to do is drop your gear off and we will sell what we can and donate or return what doesn’t sell.
What we need:
Classic and skate skis, boots, bindings, and poles. Please remove all kick wax from any classic skis.
All leftovers will be returned to owner or donated to Play It Again Sports so that other young neo-skiers are encouraged to participate in the sport.
