Canada to Host North American FIS TD Seminar in November 2017

release by CCC

August 27, 2017 (Ottawa, ON) – In 2017, Canada will again play host to the North American FIS TD Seminar. Held every 2nd year, the seminar is designed to present new practices and topics of interest in the organization and development of the sport on a world basis. The last seminar in North America was hosted in Minneapolis just prior to the 2015 season. The Ottawa-Gatineau FIS TDs, in cooperation with Cross Country Canada, are happy to bring the FIS TD Seminar to the National Capital region in 2017. Hosting this important seminar is part of the ongoing development programs initiated through legacy funds from Gatineau’s stage of Ski Tour Canada 2016.

The OC have encouraged all those interested FIS TD’s to reserve the weekend of November 3, 4 and 5, 2017 well in advance to make sure you will be with us. The seminar will be held at the Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa located a short 20 minute drive north of Ottawa and adjacent to the Gatineau Park.

A reminder to Canadian Officials that you can benefit from a reduction of $90 on the registration fee to the FIS TD Update Seminar and $75 on the registration fee to the FIS Homologation Seminar. To get the discount, you should include the code that will appear when you select Canada as your country in the registration form in Zone4.  This subsidy is made possible through the support of Legacy Funds provided by ENGNE, the organization responsible for the 1st leg of Ski Tour Canada 2016.

You can find all the information for your registration in the attached document below.

We hope to see you there!
