November 26, 2008 – Our Euro contacts have informed us that Canada’s top skier, Chandra Crawford, did not arrive with Perianne Jones as expected for this weekend’s XC World Cup #2 in Kuusamo, Finland which could mean she’s not racing. According to Crawford’s web site her ankle has been a problem – an excerpt reads, “My awesome team enjoyed some on-snow training at the beautiful x-c ski mecca of Silverstar Resort in BC last week. I enjoyed a few precious hours of skiing before the pain on my ankle bone made it impossible to wear a ski boot at all.” Read more at Chandra’s site here.
