Canada’s Tandy Wins 2 Biathlon Golds at Summer Worlds

September 30, 2009 (Oberhof, Germany) – Canada’s Megan Tandy of Prince George, B.C. skied and shot her way to victory in both the 7.5km sprint and 10km pursuit at the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Summer World Championships last weekend in Oberhof, Germany.

Tandy, a 20-year-old Olympic hopeful, trained this summer with the British Columbian team, and will be competing in the World Cup with the Canadian team in the early part of the season. For more on this story click click here.
