January 08, 2012 (Germany) – Canada’s Chandra Crawford and Len Valjas topped fields at a FIS Weiler i.d. Bergen race in Germany on Saturday while some of their teammates are at the Tour de Ski. Crawford won the women’s race after qualifying 7th while her teammate Perianne Jones did not start. Valjas grabbed the win in the men’s final after qualifying 4th. Dasha Gaiazova is racing this weekend at the US XC Ski Championships. Racing continues on Sunday with a 7.5/10km freestyle race.
