Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge Gets New Director

November 19, 2007 (Cap-Chat, Que.) – It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) announces the arrival of Mr. Dominique Gagnon as the new Director of the Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge in Gaspésie. His training at Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) as a wine steward, knowledge of the hotel business and technical prowess as a skier ensure that the Lodge’s high standards will be upheld and its friendly spirit preserved.

Until now, the Charlevoix native and resident of the Magdalen Islands for nearly 20 years has been operating Auberge Au Salange. He also worked as a kayak guide and made many trips abroad. His contagious dynamism and wide range of skills assure visitors to the Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge a memorable experience in keeping with the area’s authentic nature.

The Lodge will open for the winter season on December 26, 2007, offering customers 60 km2 of snow-covered mountains reserved exclusively for them.
