September 11, 2008 (Wilmington, NY) – The New York Ski Educational Foundation is pleased to host the second annual “Climb To The Castle” Whiteface Rollerski Race, on Monday October 6, 2008, with 9 am start. Climb to the top of Whiteface, New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360-degree panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England and Canada.

The 8km/5-mile hill climb has an average 8% grade up the Whiteface Toll Road. The race will be freestyle technique and here’s link to great photos from last year’s event at teamtoday.org.

A competitive field is expected including the USST XC team, NENSA Elite Junior group, Sun Valley ODT and CXC Team. Come for a fall training weekend in the Adirondacks, lodging suggestions at www.lakeplacid.com.
