December 26, 2005 – As per the excerpt from the new CPL operations procedures guide below, a new points list was to be produced on or about Dec 27th. Due to some technological challenges and a delay with FIS making the international race data available, it appears that this publication date will have to be adjusted to the first week in January.

If the new points list is not available in time for seeding at the World Junior Championship and U23 Championship trials and Nor Am Canada Cup in Valcartier, seeding will be based on the end of year 2004/2005 Canada Points lists.

Any athletes needing special seeding consideration due to injury or health issues last season, or that have had very significantly improved performance in Nov/Dec 2005 compared to the previous season, need to submit a letter endorsed by their division, to ddyer@cccski.com AND ascheier@cccski.com as soon as possible. This letter should document the reasons for requesting special consideration. Please note that special consideration will only be granted where significant differences in performance are apparent between the seeding list and recent results.
