CXC Summer Camps – Sign Up Today

June 06, 2012 – From a 7-year-old junior skier to a 21-year-old college skier or citizen skiers, CXC offers a variety of camp opportunities this summer to help cross country skiers of all abilities across the Midwest and Great Lakes to reach their full potential. Limited rollerski equipment is available upon request. June and July camps will be held at the CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI) alongside of CXC Team. Camp registration includes CXC membership.

One-Day Nordic Summer Camp – $65.00 per participant
• August 13, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)

CXC’s One-Day Nordic Summer Camp offers boys and girls ages 7 to 13 the opportunity to learn the skills and principles that make a successful cross country skier. This camp concentrates on the fundamentals of cross country skiing through fun dry-land drills, sport specific games, and places emphasis on key character lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship and respect. Camp registration includes CXC membership.

High School Camps – $180 per camp
• June 15-17, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)
• July 6-8, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)
• August 10-12, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)

These camps are designed towards athletes that have a goal to improve their results in the high school races and/or have a goal to compete in the Junior National Qualifying events. Camp is mostly focused on dry-land and rollerski technique for both classic and skate techniques.

J2/J3/Middle School Camps – $180 per camp
• June 15-17, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)
• July 6-8, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)
• August 10-12, CXC Training Center (Telemark Resort, Cable, WI)

These camps will help younger juniors to focus on technique, bust bad habits, build new skills and uncover hidden talent. During the 3 days at the camp, participants learn champion techniques from personable CXC Team athletes and coaches. Expect high energy!
