CXC’s 2008 Regional Technique Development Camp

July 28-31

release by the Central Cross Country Ski Association
July 1, 2008 (Hayward, WI) – Central Cross Country Ski Association with the support of the American Birkebeiner is pleased to announce the 2008 Regional Technique Development Camp for Regional Development Group, State Development Group, and Open category athletes and Master skiers. This camp blends upper level regional athletes in combination with entry level and first time participants.

The goal of the camp will be technique development in small groups (4-6 athletes per coach) of similar levels and individual video analysis for instant feedback.

“We gained a lot of new knowledge in the field of cross country ski technique in last two years with our CXC Ski Team and by working closely with the US Ski Team coaches. We also understand that personal attention and feedback are critical components in technique development. This camp is the best opportunity for athletes at every level to improve their technique. Small groups separated by ability level will be a very effective tool and method to improve technical skills,” commented Yuriy Gusev (CXC Skiing Chief Executive Officer).

Space in this annual camp is filling quickly.
