February 1, 2006 – Dasha won the B final finishing 5th overall. Chandra finished either 11th . Perianne Phil Widmer was second in his heat and ready to move on but fell near the end and failed to advanceand finishing 16th

Conditions were very slushy with deep snow and temperatures are warm. Racers were offsetting on the flats. In each heat there was at least one fall because of conditions. Conditions were not good for the pure power sprinters as the tracks were soft and mushy. There is some concern about the snow lasting through to the end of the championships because of the mild weather.

World Jrs Final Results:
Alex Harvey 16th, was 2nd in his quarter final coming into stadium but fell and ended up 4th, Haakon 29, broke pole
