October 22, 2008 (Denver, Colorado) – The city of Denver, CO has quietly stepped into the ring as a possible host site for the 2018 Winter Games. The Denver Post reports that a delegation of 165 business leaders and local state politicians are travelling to Vancouver, BC as part the Denver’s Chamber of Commerce annual Leadership Exchange Program. Additionally, the Denver backers don’t wish to rock the boat while Chicago makes a legitimate bid for the 2016 Summer Games. For the complete story click here.
