September 22, 2015 – Ski Wax Company Vauhti from Finland is proud to start cooperation with Diamond Head Sports Inc. Cooperation will boost Vauhti’s position and presence in the market and strengthen its sales and service forces in growing Canadian cross country skiing and alpine skiing market.

Vauhti is probably the world’s oldest wax brand still in operation since 1912, trusted by all of the major national cross-country ski teams. The roots of the recipe development go back more than one hundred years, to the Salaisuus (Secret) wax. Some of the innovations of those early days are still used in products.

Product development and the wax factory are located in Joensuu, Finland. Products are thoroughly tested with World Cup Teams’ managers, wax technicians and competitive skiers world wide. High quality research related to waxing technology has been conducted in the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu for nearly 20 years.
