January 11, 2015 (Oberhof, GER) – Darya Domracheva (Belarus) rebounded to take the women’s 12.5km Mass Start victory with strong skiing despite four penalties. The Czech Republic’s Veronika Vitkova claimed second with two penalties as Tiril Eckhoff (Norway) recovered from two early misses in prone to land third on the podium with clean shooting in both standing session.

Jana Gerekova (Slovakia) was one of two skiers to shoot clean and finished fifth place which was a personal best according to biathlonworld.com. World Cup leader Kaisa Makarainen (Finland) was 5th.

Canada’s Rosanna Crawford placed 20th with five penalties at 2:40.3 and US Biathlon’s Susan Dunklee was 27th suffering 8 penalties.
