EISA Announces 2010 Carnival Schedule

October 12, 2009 – The 2010 Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) Carnival season begins January 15 and 16 at the St. Lawrence Carnival in Lake Placid. Alpine events are at Whiteface and Nordic events are at Mt. Van Hovenberg. One week later St Michael’s College hosts (Jan 22 and 23) at Sleepy Hollow and Smugglers Notch.

This years schedule includes one weekend off between St. Michael’s and UVM Carnivals. EISA racing action returns for the UVM Carnival February 5-7. Nordic events take place Feb 6 and 7 at Trapp Family Lodge and Alpine events are Feb 5 and 6 at Stowe.

February 12 and 13 Dartmouth College hosts Nordic races at Oak Hill and alpine races at the Dartmouth Skiway. Williams College Carnival is February 19 and 20 at Prospect and Jiminy Peak.

The EISA season finishes with the Eastern Regional Championships February 26 and 27, hosted by Middlebury College.

EISA skiers head west two weeks later for NCAA Championships hosted by University of Colorado in Steamboat Springs, CO. NCAA Championships competition is March 10-13.

Eastern Regional Championships Hosted by Middlebury College at Rikert and Snow Bowl

March 10-13
NCAA Championships Hosted by University of Colorado in Steamboat Springs, CO
