November 13, 2010 (Bruksvallarna, Sweden) – Devon Kershaw and Len Valjas lead a strong Canadian performance placing 3rd and 4th respectively in the 1.65km men’s A final at the FIS Sprints in Bruksvallarna behind winner and local star speedster Emil Jöensson. Five Canucks advanced through the qualifications including Alex Harvey, Stefan Kuhn and Phil Widmer. In the 1.4km women’s race Daria Gaiazova was second in the qualifications and Chandra Crawford was 12th to advance but both ended up in the same 1/4 final heat and were eliminated. Ida Ingemarsdotter (SWE) took the win over Charlotte Kalle (SWE) in second with Hanna Brodin claiming third.
