March 7, 2007 – Dear Colleagues, as you already know, Fusine and Planica are the new venues for the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, and U23 Cross-Country Ski World Championships, from March 12-18 – originally scheduled for January 2007 in Tarvisio (Italy).

Due to unreasonably warm weather and resulting lack of snow, the FIS decided to transfer the cross-country races from “Gabriella Paruzzi” to Fusine, 10 km from Tarvisio, and the ski jumping and Nordic Combined races from “Fratelli Nogara” jumping hill in Tarvisio to Planica, Slovenia.
