February 6, 2010 (Canmore, Alberta) – Canada’s Daria Gaiazova in 9th lead the six North Americans that qualified in the Women’s 1.4km Classic Sprint qualifications topped by World Cup leader Justyna Kowalczyk (Pol). Canada’s Sara Renner was 15th, Holly Brooks (USA) placed 21st, Kikkan Randall (USA) was 22nd, Canada’s Chandra Crawford was 24th and Perianne Jones (Can) was 29th.
