by skitrax.com

March 20, 2010 (Falun, Sweden) – Norway dominated the women’s 10km pursuit in Falun on Saturday with Olympic star Marit Bjoergen taking the win as team mate Kristin Stoermer Steira claimed second while Therese Johaug was 3rd. The USA’s Kikkan Randall continues to outperform with a fabulous race moving up to 14th place in photo finish over Sweden’s Anna Olsson, while Canada’s Daria Gaiazova was 43rd.

Bjoergen leads the 4-race WCup finale with Justyna Kowalczyk (POL), 12th today, in second and Olsson in third while Randall is 16th. Kowalczyk leads the overall WCup title with 1,904 points, with Petra Majdic (SLO) in second with 1,191 points (not racing as she is still recovering from injuries suffered during her unfortunate freak crash while training at the 2010 Olympics), and Bjoergen in third with 1,120 points.
