March 13, 2010 (Oslo, Norway) – Petter Northug (NOR) topped the podium again winning

the men’s 50km freestyle race with a time of 2:09:18.5 in Oslo on Saturday. Pietro Piller Cottrer (ITA) finished second, three seconds behind the leader, followed by Vincent Vittoz (FRA) in third, another 30s back. Brian Gregg (USA) was the top American in 39th, with James Southam (USA) and Mike Hinckley (USA) in 42nd and 43rd, respectively. Graham Nishikawa (CAN) was the only Canadian finisher in 48th. George Grey (CAN), Devon Kershaw (CAN), Alex Harvey (CAN), and Ivan Babikov (CAN) did not finish.
