April 13, 2009 – Any way you look at it Fischer athletes had dominating and historic seasons from Kikkan Randall’s best-ever American finish at a Nordic World Championships, to Justyna Kowalczyk’s overall World Cup XC series title win – a first for a skier from Poland – to 22-year-old Dario Cologna’s (Sui) World Cup XC series overall win, as well as Finland’s Annsi Koivuranta in Nordic Combined.
