While the classic trails still require additional cover the organizing committee in cooperation with CCC are confident that the full race schedule will be possible by the end of next week.  Snow is forecast on a daily basis.

The Race Jury however will be monitoring the situation and if snow conditions do not materialize as anticipated the committee may consider reversing the Thursday and Sunday schedule and stage the interval start distance race (free technique) on Thursday and the skiathlon on Sunday.

A final decision on the schedule will take place on Monday, January 5th.
