October 25, 2008 (Corner Brooks, NL) – As part of the CP Rail “Heroes and Mentors Program” 3-time Olympian Milaine Theriault visited Corner Brook, NL recently where she received a hero’s welcome by members of the Newfoundland & Labrador Provincial Ski Team.

Enthusiastic female athletes and coaches spent the morning roller skiing with Theriault where she provided technical feedback, shortly followed by a breathtaking roller ski along the Humber River. That afternoon girls had the opportunity to socialize with the Olympian where she provide words of wisdom on what it takes to reach personal best, along with a short session of yoga.

Later that evening a social was held in support of XCNL where Milaine motivated all in attendance on her outstanding achievements. Gerry Rideout, President of CCNL expressed gratitude on behalf of the athletes and CCNL for Canadian Pacific and CCC for proving such a fabulous program for young female athletes.
