January 04, 2017 (Osrblie, Slovakia) – Following the recent decision by the IBU Executive Board to move the IBU Youth/Junior World Championships 2017 from Ostrov, Russia, the IBU selected the location for the new host. The IBU YJWCH 2017 will take place from February 22-28, 2017 in Osrblie, Slovakia. The venue for BMW IBU World Cup 8 originally scheduled at Tyumen, Russia will be announced soon.
