April 27, 2016 (Dieppe, NB) – CCNB is the provincial sport organization that oversees the sport of cross country skiing and is currently seeking a full-time Executive Director. The Executive Director (ED) will manage the operations of CCNB and report to the Board of Directors via the President of CCNB.

As leader of CCNB, the ED will maintain strong relationships and communicate regularly with all key stakeholders in the Province’s cross country ski community, including: clubs, coaches, officials, Cross Country Ski Canada and other key stakeholders.

Education and Professional Requirements
A post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in recreation management, business, sport management or another related field is a requirement. Candidates must be bilingual with excellent writing and communication skills in both languages. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, sound decision-making ability, self-motivation and a commitment to the advancement of the sport of cross country skiing are required.

There is no preferred location for the position, salary will be dependant on experience and benefits under Sport New Brunswick’s group insurance are provided.
