November 18, 2012 (Beitostølen, Norway) – Therese Johaug landed on the top spot of the podium besting Marit Bjoergen by almost a minute in the women’s 10km CL perhaps signaling a changing of the guard as the competitions wrapped up at Norway’s season-launch races in Beitostølen on Sunday. Heidi Weng grabbed the final podium spot.

In the men’s 15km CL it was Chris Andre Jespersen leading a posse of teammates that saw Paal Golberg claim second and Martin Johnsrud Sundby third as Petter Northug did not factor in the outcome placing 24th. France’s Maurice Manificat finished 8th on the day tied with Norway’s Anders Aukland.
