May 26, 2014 (Montreal, QC) – Julbo Eyewear is proud to announce that effective immediately the company is an official supplier of the Cross-Country Ski de fond Canada National Ski Team. Canadian team athletes who compete at National and International levels will now have access to the unique technology and performance of Julbo’s quality eyewear.

By teaming up with leading cross-country brands Swix and Fischer, Julbo completes a Nordic equipment powerhouse by providing sunglasses and visors to elite athletes. With World Cup success with athletes such as Martin Fourcade (2-time Biathlon Overall World Cup Winner), Julbo plans to continue increasing its support of Canadian athletes. The goal is to increase visibility on the international scene leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympic in South Korea.

Canadian Race Director Michel Marcoux has been testing with Canadian athletes all year. “The reception of Julbo has been exceptional! The performance of the eyewear speaks for itself,” says Mr Marcoux.  The athlete selection process is ongoing and will be finalized in July.
