March 31, 2014 (Thunder Bay, ON) – Way to go 24-12-6 Hour Relay participants. Together we skied 6,626km! Congratulations to Andy Shields and Jennifer Jackson who skied 455 km. They broke the 24-hour mixed pair record set by Timo and Becky in 2004.
Congratulations Joe Holland who came all the way from New Hampshire to win the 24 Hour Solo Male with 315 km, beating Lappe’s Werner Schwar by a mere 8km.
Awesome fundraising efforts, too. Thanks to all, volunteers, skiers, sponsors and supporters for making this a great event. The 2015 Haywood Ski Nationals will be held at Lappe Nordic.
