February 4, 2007 (Davos, Switzerland) – For the first time in men’s World Cup history, two skiers shared first place yesterday in the 15 km race in Davos, Switzerland yesterday. Swiss skier Toni Livers posted an impressive time of 35:48:8. But this was later matched by Vincent Vittoz of France. Austrian Christian Hoffman finished third, 11.5 seconds back.

Livers was probably more thrilled with his victory as his previous best performance at the World Cup in 2006 was 14th place. For Vittoz, it was his sixth World Cup victory.

American Kris Freeman finished 15th, 1:17.69 back, James Southam was 51st, and Andrew Johnson placed 60th. No Canadians were listed in the field of 70 skiers.
