February 04, 2014 (Caribou, Maine) – The Maine Winter Sports Center has developed a global reputation for the quality of our facilities, the quality of our programs and the impact we are having in Maine. For the past 15 years the financial support of the Libra Foundation has made that all possible, but it is now time for us to develop a new funding model and we need to get that done by the end of March.

Our award-winning programs are in over 140 communities across Maine, from Eliot to Fort Kent and Farmington to the outer isles, our youth and Olympic Development race programs are having unprecedented success and our venues are bringing the world to Maine. If you value the work we are doing, or have been affected by our programs and would like to see us continue making a difference in Maine please help by giving generously. We need to raise at least $550,000 by March 31 and you can help make the difference.
