The Mike’s Nordic Club in collaboration with Mike’s Bike Shop includes cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The club has been holding meetings, including waxing clinics and classic and skate ski lessons.
These clininc/lessons are free to members, the cost to join the club is $15, and you can join on site at our events, or you can drop by at Mike’s Bike Shop anytime and register there.
Benefits to being a member:
-Free regular lessons to all members wax & ski technique(we plan on every saturday morning)
-Weekly group skiing
-10% off accessories at Mike’s Bike Shop
-10% off labour at Mike’s Bike Shop
-Club web page with forum and ride posting
-Membership to the provincial and national CC ski association(possibly, to be developed: touques…)
-Other benefits to develop depending on members
