January 16, 2015 (Maine) – The 2015 EISA Carnival season kicked off this weekend with the Bates College Winter Carnival 15/20km CL races at Black Mountain, Maine. Midland’s Heather Mooney topped the women’s field with Annika Taylor (UNH) at 5.2s behind and Alayna Sonnesyn (UVM) in third. Canada’s Colin Abbott (CAR) from Carleton University in Ottawa won the men’s 20km CL over Patrick Caldwell (DAR) with a 6s margin as fellow Canuck Frederic Touchette (LAV) landed third on the podium another 19s behind
