July 07, 2010 (Seward, AK) – U.S. National Team XC skiers and Olympians Holly Brooks and Kikkan Randall took part in the 83rd Mt. Marathon foot race in Seward, AK on July 4, finishing second and third, respectively, behind winner Cedar Bourgeois. The race consists of a climb and descent on Mt. Marathon – a mile and a half up and a mile and a half down, complete with cliffs, scree fields, waterfalls, and a spectacular view. This annual event draws runners from around the world. Brooks finished only 10s behind the leader. Full results here.
