September 28, 2014 (Canmore, AB) – Training for coaches of athletes with a physical disability at the Community Coach level. The NCCP CC AWAD Module is comprised of five hours total of classroom and on-snow.  Learn the steps to coaching athletes with a disability who are in the FUNdamental stage, observe a practise and then assist a coach in a Para-Nordic Camp.

Where: Canmore Nordic Centre, Canmore, AB
Date: November 21 (7:00-9:00pm) and November 22 (9:00-noon)

Certified Community Coach is the pre-requisite for taking this AWAD module;

1. Introduction to Community Coaching and Community Coaching workshops
2. Community sport ‘Making Ethical Decisions’ online evaluation (coach.ca)
3. Successful completion of Community Coaching Experience form (please make sure this form has been completed and handed into your Division representative so that they may enter this information into the CAC Locker database)

Registration fee: $60.00 per coach/participant. Minimum of 4 participants to run the workshop.
