The day will begin with a review of sound technique fundamentals, body position and balance. Participants will gain exposure to drills ranging from beginner to advanced, with an emphasis on balance and agility. Some of these will be on foot and some on roller skis and will include ski walking bounding and roller skiing.
The afternoon will enable skiers to get feedback during an actual workout. Striding, double pole and DP kick will be incorporated into this session along with coaching feedback and video analysis. A brief discussion on training theory and building a plan will close out the day.

Workshop # 2: Building speed (Skating Focus)
A review of both classic and skate with the emphasis mainly on skating. We will cover sound technique fundamentals, body position and balance with a chance to work through drills and exercises to improve balance and agility.
The afternoon session will again offer video feedback during an actual workout. V1, V2 and V2 alternate will be incorporated into this session along with coaching feedback and video analysis. A brief discussion on training theory and building a plan will close out the day.
