NENSA Summer Camps Kick Off Soon!

June 05, 2010 – It is time already for Summer and camp season is in full swing!  With plenty of events on the schedule the rosters are filling quickly. FIrst up is the NENSA June REG camp (Regional Elite Group) and Technique clinic at the end of June. This summer, the REG will move from Lake Placid to Craftsbury VT- home of the Craftsbury Green Racing Project and coach Pepa Milocheva. The camp is full with a waiting list and looks to be one of the best assembled group of juniors so far!

Seven coaches from New England and Mid A will be lending their hand for the 6-day camp which takes place June 25- 30th, including Matt Whitcomb from the USST.  Keep abreast of all of the camp happenings, including photos and stories from the campers, here.  You can also find info on the other NENSA camps at the racing page, under the appropriate age links: July J2/EHS camp, August U23/Senior camp and the NENSA/USST camp in October!

The REG camps around the country have been designated as an important piece of the athlete development pipeline and will double as Talent ID camps for US Ski Team coaches. Additionally, there will be a USST and NENSA technique clinic on Sunday June 27th at Craftsbury for interested coaches and athletes.
