July 12, 2011 (Helsinki, Finland) – Finland’s doping fiascos may not be over just yet. Apparently Finland’s National Bureau of Investigation has launched a new preliminary investigation regarding the 10-year old libel case against the Finnish News Agency STT. Recently the courts issued suspended sentences against former skier, Jari Räsänen, and former Ski Association official, Pekka Vähäsöyrinki, for lying about doping use during that libel trial. No details about the new investigation were available reports the Helsinki Times.
